JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Electrical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Scholar. The successful candidate will focus on dynamics of Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) in the nonlinear regime under the supervision of Dr. Omar Lopez.
The Postdoctoral Scholar will design MEMS oscillators, fabricate them at our facilities, and characterize them at the Lopez lab. The topic of Dr. Lopez's studies will be the effect of the resonators’ non-linear response on the performance and coupling of oscillators.
Applicants must have their Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a related field by the start date. Interested applicants should submit a CV with their online application.
This is a term appointment, funded for one year from date of hire, with a possibility of renewal.
