Job Description
The Kumar group in the Louisiana State University Department of Chemistry is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher. The Postdoc will perform original research in molecular simulations. This position is initially for one year. Continuation is subject to funding availability, satisfactory job performance, and/or visa status.
Job Duties:
70% Carry out molecular simulations to understand the structure, dynamics and reactivity at solid-liquid interfaces using molecular simulations with accurate many-body force-fields.
15% Write analyses codes and research publications, and present results at professional meetings.
15% Work and collaborate with students in all levels.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in chemistry or related field
