Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

-Conduct research related to decomposition ecology, forensic applications, integrated pest management, and insect-based feed production.

-Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results.

-Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at professional meetings.

-Assist in writing grant proposals to secure external funding.

-Oversee and manage laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

-Mentor and provide guidance to graduate and undergraduate students in the lab.

-Collaborate with internal and external researchers to advance project objectives.

-Other duties as required.

Required Education:

- Ph.D. in Entomology, Ecology, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Good communication, computer, and presentation skills.

Ability to multi task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Strong publication record in relevant scientific journals.

-Experience in writing grant proposals and securing research funding.

-Ability to present research at professional conferences and meetings.

-Proficiency in experimental design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.

-Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage laboratory activities.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
