Two postdoctoral positions with competitive salaries and benefits are available in Dr. Yanbo Fan’s Lab at The Ohio State UniversityJOB IS FROM: postdocjobs.siteVIEW. The Fan Lab, within the Department of Surgery and Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute, focuses on cardiovascular diseases (atherosclerosis, aortic aneurysm, angiogenesis, etc.), cancer drug-induced cardiotoxicity, metabolic disorders, and the intersection of vascular biology with diabetes and cancer.
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in physiology, biology, biomedical science, or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in cardiovascular physiology, vascular cell biology, or metabolic research
- A strong publication record and evidence of research productivity
- Ability to independently design and conduct experiments
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Preferred Experience:
- Proficiency in molecular techniques relevant to cardiovascular biology and metabolism
- Gained hands-on experience with mouse surgical models
