Job Description
The University of Southern California, one of the nation's top universities, invites applications for a full- time, post-doctoral research associate in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering within the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in one or more of the following areas: Information theory, structured statistics, reinforcement learning, and/or wireless communications. The candidate should hold a doctoral degree in electrical or computer engineering or related fields. The successful candidate will have a strong publication record in key journals.

The annual base salary range for this position is $62,400- $67,080. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.”
This is a grant funded position that is to be hired for a set fixed-term.
