The Machine Learning Department (MLD) at Carnegie Mellon University is a leading hub for research and education in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The Machine Learning Department (MLD) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Conducting research in representation learning, particularly over sequence data and tabular data.
• Developing algorithms that can incorporate domain knowledge and combine that with statistical information.
• Helping manage and mentor junior members of the Ravikumar research group
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Education: Doctorate degree required
• Experience: 3-5 years of research and statistical machine learning experience

A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
