Job Description
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
We are searching for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work with the Polymer and Food Protection Consortium. The successful candidate will work with plastic packaging and recycling to evaluate contamination, regulation and properties. The candidate will also conduct and assist with research regarding plastic packaging and recycling contamination using analytical equipment in the Polymer and Food Protection Consortium laboratories.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with plastics recycling, characterization, and analytical equipment.
- Experience with liquid and gas chromatography
- Experience with liquid extractions
- Experience with focused ultrasound extractions
- Experience writing scientific reports, method development, and publications
